The 0.3-second face unlock is genuinely instant—I barely slow down walking up to the door anymore, and it works even in dim hallway light. The palm print option is a nice backup for when my hands are full with groceries.

Palm recognition sounded gimmicky to me, but it’s actually scarily accurate — even in dim hallway lighting it reads my hand instantly. My kids can’t reach the sensor yet, so I still use the face unlock for them, and that’s just as quick. Setup took me ten minutes and the door’s never felt this effor
